Austin Parks Foundation

Calling all friends of Heritage Oaks Park!

Despite the cold weather right now, NEXT weekend will be very nice and SRCC hopes for a good turnout for the annual “It’s My Park” Day at Heritage Oaks Park.

When: This Saturday, March 7, 9am – 12pm

Where: Heritage Oaks Park (map)

Volunteer for It’s My Park Day 2015 and choose the size of your FREE T-SHIRT

There will be a goody bag for everyone who REGISTERS so don’t delay!

Gloves will be provided but you can bring your own water container, sunscreen and hat.  Wear comfortable shoes for walking around.  And, since this event will be easy going, please invite your children and bring along your leashed pet (poo-bags provided, of course!)

Come join SRCC at around 9am for a tour of the wetland area, some general cleanup and a preview of the funded improvements for Heritage Oaks Park scheduled for this year thanks to generous funding by Austin Parks Foundation.  We will “plant” a couple signs, too.

This event will be a light-duty opportunity to meet-n-greet neighbors getting outdoors for the first time to welcome Spring and we welcome the pleasure of your company.
