About

South River City Citizens Neighborhood Association (SRCC) was established in 1972. General membership meetings are generally held monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. All residents are welcome to attend and participate in meetings, although only members are eligible to vote on issues. Meeting agendas, reports, and news are on the SRCC official website: www.srccatx.org

General membership meetings are generally held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm. General Membership meetings are conducted by Zoom for the convenience of members. For those of us who still like to meet in person, we occasionally host hybrid meetings at the Good Shepherd On The Hill Episcopal Church, 1700 Woodland Avenue and include a Zoom option for participation. SRCC will email meeting notifications, agendas, location and links for Zoom registration.  To be on the list to get these notifications, go to www.srccatx.org “Sign Up for Monthly Update.”

SRCC supports our local area schools: Travis Heights Elementary, Fulmore Middle School, and Travis High School. We work to preserve our parks such as Stacy Park, Little Stacy, Heritage Oaks Park and nature areas such as Blunn Creek Preserve. Our neighborhood has faced challenges of development. Neighbors work together to deal with ongoing traffic issues within and around the neighborhood. SRCC has encouraged compatibility with adjacent areas, adequate access and parking, and minimal adverse effects on nearby properties..
