SRCC Neighbors,

Travis Heights Elementary is a vibrant, inclusive neighborhood school serving nearly 500 amazing students — 65% of whom live below the poverty line. Home to one of the largest refugee and immigrant communities in Austin ISD, our campus is rich in culture and heart.

Each year, Operation Thunderjoy gives us the chance to go beyond meeting basic needs and bring a little extra joy to THES families during the holidays. 

Now in its 10th year, this beloved tradition matches families in need with those able to give. Last year, we brightened the season for 50 families, and we’re aiming to do it again this year!
