The City of Austin is proposing major changes to Congress Avenue from the Ann Richards Bridge to the Capitol. Part of the project would include a car-free plaza north of 7th Street to the Capitol. A detailed description of the currently funded changes as well as possible future changes is available online.
The community is invited to give feedback on the funded first phase of this project via the project survey through November 24, 2024.
