The Norwood House is now free of asbestos, and whatever lead paint was not scraped off is now protected by a coat of paint. On Monday PARD staff installed a new set of billboard vinyls, obtained at a Travis Heights garage sale, to protect the entire roof.
If you don’t quite remember what the house used to look like you can get a glimpse of it now as all the plywood that covered the windows is temporarily gone. The inside has been stripped to the studs and foundation upgrade is next. Quite appropriate that springtime at Norwood is revealing the results of renovation seeds planted so long ago by SRCC members.
