A kick-off meeting for the Little Stacy Park improvements project is scheduled for Saturday, August 29th from 9-11am for initial public input. The meeting will be held on-site at the park.

The City of Austin Parks and Recreation department is working with landscape architecture firm Asakura Robinson on this project. This initial meeting will serve to introduce the Project team and stakeholders, outline the process and schedule, offer a preliminary site and needs analysis, deliver the findings of their site use survey, and solicit feedback from neighbors on park improvement priorities.

In addition to this meeting, they will be beginning their site use survey work.  Asakura Robinson will have staff onsite for at least one weekday, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon collecting data on how neighbors use/move around the site and conduct short interviews with willing participants.  They would like to begin this work as early as next week.

Margaret Robinson from Asakura Robinson will also be presenting at the Monday, August 3 SRCC general membership meeting, so please plan to attend to hear about preliminary plans.
