Our neighborhood has long had its own listserv for exchanging neighborly advice, finding lost pets, getting referrals for household repairs and much more. Last December, Yahoo pulled the plug on all its groups, including our own. Thankfully, the neighborhood list manager set up a parallel group on IO Groups, which is now operational. You will be asked to respond to an email to verify who you are, and then you’ll be able to rejoin the debate on who is the best house painter or runs the best lawn service.
