This month, the Austin Transportation Department (ATD) is initiating work to add physical protection to the bike lanes on both sides of Congress Ave. between Wasson Rd. and Live Oak St. The bike lanes will be protected using flexible posts.
The first phase of installation is anticipated to begin Sunday night, July 19, and could take up to two weeks to complete. Please watch for crews as they move through this area during the day and at night to install the street markings. Some on street parking spots may be temporarily impacted during installation.
