Proposed affordable housing development

A group named Saigebrook Development is interested in building new affordable housing in our area. The proposed complex uses tax credits to offer 90% affordable units/10% market rate. They are currently considering two different tracts: intersection of IH-35 at Woodland (southwest corner next to existing apartments) or at the dead end of Payload Pass (next to Walmart). More information about each site will be posted when available, but there are no detailed site plans yet. Megan Lasch will attend our next general meeting to present information about their plans and answer questions. She will be requesting a general vote of support for the concept of affordable housing being built in our area. This vote does NOT include agreeing to any specific zoning changes or site plans or affect our ability to negotiate with them on specifics of what will be built. We will conduct separate votes in future on specifics of project after things are further along in the process. Please see this PDF file for more information.
