The dedication of the Stacy Park Bridge mosaic in honor of Larry Monroe is this Saturday! SRCC is even getting its own presence in the artwork (see above)! Please see details below on logistics and directions. We hope to see you there on Saturday.

Date:   Saturday, June 20

Time:  9-10 a.m. arrival, 10-11 dedication and blessing

Bridge Location: The bridge is in the 1500 block of East Side Drive. East Side Drive is five blocks east of South Congress and runs along the west side of Stacy Park, all the way from Live Oak Street (south end) to Monroe Street (north end). The bridge is a half block or so north of Monroe Street.

Dedication Location: The pavilion at Little Stacy Park, just north of the bridge.

Parking:  Parking near the park pavilion is limited, so please DO NOT park near the pavilion unless you are helping with the dedication. Please DO park along East Side Drive (between Monroe and Live Oak) or elsewhere in the neighborhood.

To get to the pavilion: From Monroe Street, walk north along East Side Drive (towards downtown). See the condos across the street from the park. Walk across the bridge, and you’ll see the pavilion ahead. The street will not be closed, so please watch for cars if there are any.
