Date: Wed, 27 Apr 2011 12:09:25 -0500
Dear Oltorf Street Neighbor,
The Oltorf Street Reconstruction Project is expected to begin the first week in May and is anticipated to be complete in 14 months. During the first few weeks in May, work will include environmental protection activities and site preparation. Traffic changes including lane closures and shifting should begin mid-May.
Construction is planned to proceed in two primary phases. Phase 1 from Congress Avenue to East Side Drive and Phase 2 from East Side Drive to the IH 35 access road. During construction, there will be lane closures, however one lane in each direction will be open.
RGM Constructors of Texas was selected to complete the job. RGM is a local company based in Pflugerville and has over 25 years of experience in construction.
Construction Hours Update: Regular construction hours will be Monday – Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Most work will be completed during the week, however some activities will be completed on weekends and after normal construction hours due to traffic and other constraints.
